Mother's Day 2008

The children enjoyed petting the horshoe crabs.
Briana checking out some small turtles. We did see an 118 lb. turtle also. He was atleast as big as Brett.
Brett checking out the crocs or alligators. I am not sure which. It is amazing how still they can sit there. Andy was sure they were fake!
The children waiting to see the "otter feed." It was a feeding frenzy.

We spent mother's day at the Newport Aquarium with Andy and Melinda Lair and their children. We had a wonderful day. The kids loved it. Briana's favorite was the penguins. They are awfully cute. We were able to see them diving and eating. Also, a mother was busy feeding her young one which made for an interesting view. The mother coughs up food into their beaks and the baby eats it from her beak. Yum!! Brett's favorite part was the getting to pet the sharks. Too bad I missed getting a picture. Thanks Andy and Mel for inviting us. We so enjoyed seeing God's marvelous creation.

Kami in April

These are our most recent pics of Kami. There really isn't much to say about the whole process except that we need lots of prayers and things are moving very, very slowly!! We are thankful that she is happy and in good hands. Her foster mom looks very pleased with her. We continue to pray that God will bring her home to us soon! We are praying for all of you who are travelling the next several days.
