Prairie Days  Greenville, OH
We spent a Saturday in August enjoying pioneer activities. We are studying the 1800’s this year so it was fun for Brett and Bri to actually participate in activities we had studied. They are still enjoying the buzz saw toys they made.

Fall Fun

Every fall Brett and Bri enjoy raking leaves, but not to clean them out of the yard – they want to jump in them. It is very nice that they are now old enough to rake and jump all by themselves.

I am so thankful they enjoy playing games together.

new babies

Cai Daniel
Joined our family August 17th. My younger sister, Melanie, now has 3 boys in her household. We did not get to visit right away, but Cai was jaundiced so he had to return to the hospital. We had the privilege of picking them up from their 2nd hospital visit and taking them home. It was so fun to see him and spend a little time with their family. We are so thankful to God for Cai’s safe arrival.

Sophia Anne
Joined our family on September 10th. Bev, my youngest sister, now has a family of 4. What a blessing! Once again, we praise God for her safe arrival.

Baby Cai is growing. Bri was pleased to be able to feed him.

Bev is educating the children on bathing baby Sophia.  J

a day at Grandma's

We decided it was time to spend some quality time together at Grandma's. In the past, we have gotten together as a family often, but now it seems like it is too many family schedules and too many children. We met in August before Cole started school. Yes, I am very late in getting these done. Christmas is coming and I must get caught up. (it's awful to start the year behind)  :)

The children have so much fun playing in the "playhouse" at mom and dad's.

Mom grew most of her garden on fences this year. It turned out pretty neat! Here are a few watermelons just hanging out.

Camen thought Olivia was the "baby." Olivia was not so sure about him, but it was pretty cute. She tolerated him for a little bit anyway.

The "new-old" mommies! Yes, we have (had) two new babies coming to join our family! Praise God!

Camille and Bri are cousin friends. They wanted me to take this picture. So sweet and so fun to see their relationship grow.

This would be the Schaurer family stuck in here. We celebrated Dad's 85th Birthday together at Ruby Tuesday's.
